"Sweet Love"

Sweet love is a set of two paintings completed in patina and rose gold that highlight both the treble clef and bass clef. While the treble and bass clef remind me of the marching band days, the feature of these pieces is not just the notes in the center of each canvas but the notes scored at the bottom of each canvas. Those notes are from the classic song “Sweet Love” by one of my favorite musicians, the one and only Anita Baker. I can remember when I was a little girl I loved that song so much I would listen to it over and over until I learned all the words. My love for music in general and her artistry inspired this piece! 

Sweet Love is a set of two paintings, featuring a treble clef and bass clef. This set is a dedication to musicians and lovers of music! These pieces are completed in acrylic medium on 30x24 canvas. Sealed with matte varnish for preservation.
