Hello Art Lovers!
We are still feeling the magic of the Melanin Minds 5th Annual Mental Health Conference, a gathering of leading mental health experts, thought leaders, and healers, all curated around five powerful pillars of well-being.
This year, Roxy Wuz Here Art was honored to contribute through a brand activation: the Healing Art Garden, a collection of original abstract and mixed-media floral works designed to inspire calm, joy, and reflection.
But it was more than just an art display, it became a shared experience. Guests were invited to paint flowers on a collaborative canvas, with each bloom symbolizing peace, joy, or a personal connection to healing. By the end, we had co-created a vibrant, living artwork, a reflection of our collective stories and journeys.
If you missed the Healing Art Garden at the conference, you truly missed a special experience! Here’s to more spaces that feel like medicine, where beauty, connection, and healing flourish.
Powerful Takeaways That Continue to Resonate
• “Stand tall, use your voice, and speak your truth.”
A reminder shared during a guest’s experience in the Healing Art Garden. Vulnerability and self-expression are not only courageous, they are healing.
• “You can count the seeds in an apple, but you’ll never know how many apples will grow from a single seed.”
Wisdom from Mrs. Linda Brown that encouraged us to keep planting seeds of kindness, creativity, and care, because the ripple effect of our actions is infinite.
• Be brave enough to speak up about what you’re passionate about, you never know who you’ll inspire.
This came alive during the Fireside Panel I facilitated, especially while listening to youth speaker Zoe D.Her courage to share how art has been a source of healing at such a young age was both moving and inspiring.

The Healing Art Garden was a reminder that art is more than something to look at, it’s something to experience together. Thank you to everyone who participated and to Melanin Minds for creating a space where wellness and creativity meet.
Until next time, keep planting seeds of healing and beauty.
