Opening night for Ballet of the Masses at Sabine Street Studios was such a treat, a vibrant evening filled with creativity, community, and celebration through art and fútbol.
This exciting citywide exhibition features uniquely designed regulation-sized fútbols created by more than 40 Houston artists, each bringing their own perspective, style, and story to the game. The exhibition serves as a celebration of Houston’s creative culture and the city’s growing anticipation for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

If you missed opening night, don’t worry, the exhibition will remain on view through July 25, giving visitors plenty of time to experience the work and support Houston’s creative community.
Works currently on view from Roxy Wuz Here Art include:
- Champion Flower — Mixed media on regulation-sized fútbol
- Time To Fly — 30x40 mixed media on canvas
- Built Different — 24x36 acrylic on canvas
All featured works are currently available for acquisition.
There will be a special awards reception and artist talk on June 4 presented by exhibition juror and sportscaster Glenn Davis.
Special thanks to Sabine Street Studios Exhibition Director Justine Earl Grant for organizing this dynamic exhibition and creating a platform that connects art, culture, and community through the spirit of the game.
