The 10th iteration of the Amarillo Museum of Art Biennial 600 is opening this weekend October 14th and will be on view through December 31st.
Among the invited works for this exhibition is Roxy Wuz Here Art’s “Royal Black Diamonds”.
Royal black diamond, a later addition to the “Challenges” series features multi layered textured diamond pattern with a black crown on top.
In this work the black crown represents femininity, royalty, dominance, and sophistication and, beauty. This work is an homage to the intense and regal presence of the color black
