Art has the power to add a different perspective to the conversation that promotes deeper reflection and alternative thought processes. I am always honored to provide the Roxy Wuz Here Art version of Healing Through Art, and I are always grateful to KDIC for an invitation to do so.
This week RWHA was invited to join our friends at Kay Davis in The Community at the Kay Davis Showroom plus to provide an artwork activation to accompany the conversation for the Trending Tuesday’s Podcast hosted by Jeffrey Boney.
The topic was Breast Cancer Awareness and women’s health. This was such a powerful and necessary conversation led by Caleen Allen from the Sisters Network Inc. and Chris Noble from The Rose Houston, two outstanding leaders from organizations in the arena of Breast Cancer care and resources. There was a wealth of information share during this conversation from the latest statistics to a step-by-step walk through of what a support and care plan could look like with both of these organizations.
