What an a exciting week for Roxy Wuz Here Art!
Monday November 27, 2023 marked the end of an exciting journey filled with new knowledge, connections and future partnerships as Roxy Wuz Here Art founder Rickale West completed the S.U.R.E program University of Houston Musa and Dakri Center for Economic Inclusion at the C.T. Bauer School of Business.
S.U.R.E which stand for Stimulating Urban Renewal Through Entrepreneurship was founded by Dr. Saleha Khumawala. I believe the program is so beneficial to new and established entrepreneurs. Aside from the emended amount of resources and assistance the program offers the SURE program offers alternative prospectives for approaching business, especially if you have already been operating and looking to scale.
The program closed out with an exciting Holiday Market December 2, 2023 at the University of Houston Student Center. Family, friends and the community were able to come shop and support nearly 80 SURE alumni and their business! So you know “Roxy Wuz Here”
We made some amazing connections and learned so much about the fellow SURE alumni past and recent. What a time.
