Tabula Rasa (Blank Slate) features a broken chain underneath white this broken chain represents being detached from one’s previous self, previous thinking, and previous behavior. The white represents a slate being wiped clean to start anew and have a clean slate or in Latin “Tabula Rasa”
It is said, we are all born with a clean slate and can become anything and anyone we want.
The things we are taught, our experiences, and our environment, often have a strong influence on who we are and the decisions we make. However, what if we decide that we are not content with who we are or our choices and want something different, something more but all we know is what we know? Can we then choose to unlearn those things and be someone different? What about who we were before?
Many people believe in karma and that what you put out is what you receive back. So even if you want to be someone different, someone, better. You will at someone point, reap the karma for who you once were. It is my personal belief that karma can provide us with a clean slate.
Imagine making a choice or choices that were not in alignment with who you were meant to be and who you know you want to be and then going on to encounter the most epic karmic experience. Of course, you have to be honest with yourself about knowing that karma has come to visit you. People who are prepared for change know to look karma in the eyes because they are not oblivious to the skeletons of their past. So you make crappy choices, except your karma, then what? A clean slate?
When you chose to do better, be better, and break the chains that connect you to your old self, old ways of thinking, old choices, and walk-in your magnificence with a clean conscious is when you can have “Tabula Rasa”
